Great for diction!

It's very sweet.

I didn't expect much from it but when I read it it had a very good storyline. Though I find the main heroine very with little self confident it made it very sweet that the hero was that much outgoing and just a sweetheart for a male character in a harlequin manga or novel. I'm gonna have to get the novel in itself to read that one. It really was a sweet read.

This was a good read and I did enjoy the book. The only part I didn't like was the female lead being so stubborn about accepting that someone could love her for herself. Talk about "mule-headed." Geez, she took it to another level! But it did end happy families and I do love a happy end.....

About the Author
Robert N. Staley, D.D.S., M.A., M.S., is a professor in the Orthodontic Department at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, where he has been on faculty since 1970. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, and among his many awards he received the Student Research Group Mentor of the Year Award for 2003-2004. Dr. Staley has served as an editorial consultant for various peer-reviewed journals and sits on the editorial board for The Angle Orthodontist.

Neil T. Reske, M.A., also from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, teaches dental students, orthodontic residents, and pediatric dentistry residents the principles and techniques of laboratory appliance fabrication.

Breaking Generational Curses

This book is for those who find themselves up against forces that seem insurmountable. Mrs. Hickey explains, if you find yourself repeating the same sins in life that you saw your parents, grandparents or other family members committing such as alcoholism, immorality, adultery, debt, illness, etc., they are all curses that can be handed down from generation to generation. Or if you were adopted you may be continuing the same patterns of self-destruction that your natural parents possessed. This book tells you how to biblically and prayerfully change your future from here on. It gave me comfort to know I can change my future and the future for my daughters and their children for generations to come. It's easy to read and understand with many biblical references. Thanks to Marilyn Hickey for helping me change my family's future!! =)

This is a must read for people of all ages. So many people wonder why things happen in their life and why they go through some of the things they go through. It's because of a generational curse that's been inherited. Someone must stand up to the devil and say enough is enough! The buck stops here. We must choose to pass down God's blessings instead of the devil's curses.

Part two is a catalogue that offers exemplary presentations of fortifications studied by network members; it is arranged in four sections: regions, sites, architectural elements and architectural details. The book is Volume 1 in the new series Fokus Fortifikation Studies. Volume 2 in the series, Focus on Fortification: New Research on Fortifications in the Ancient Mediterranean and the Near East (Oxbow Books), the proceedings of an international conference held in Athens in December 2012, will also appear in 2015.

About the Author
Dr Silke M�th is a classical archaeologist. She did her PhD at the Free University of Berlin on the topography and town planning of ancient Messene and was as a lecturer there for five years, doing research on doing research on the city walls of Messene and Zeugma. Currently she is working on the symbolic functions of Greek and Roman fortifications as a research fellow at the German Archaeological Institute at Athens with funding from the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft. Further research interests include Greek and Roman urbanism and interdisciplinary approaches between archaeology and ancient history.

Dr Peter Iren�us Schneider is a Bauforscher specialized in archaeology. He conducted several field projects in Turkey (Hasankeyf, Miletos) and Saudi-Arabia (Tayma), organized a number of conferences and edited volumes on ancient architecture. Currently he is visiting professor for Building Archaeology and Conservation of Sites at Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus - Senftenberg.

Mike Schnelle is a Bauforscher specialized in archaeology. Mr Schnelle has got extensive experience as a field archaeologist and is working on a PhD focussed on the Sabaean fortifications of the cities of Sirwah and Marib in Yemen. Since 2012 he is research associate at the Sanaa Branch of the German Archaeological Institute and he is currently involved in several projects of the Branch in Sirwah, Marib and Tan'im in Yemen and Yeha and Hawelti in Ethiopia.

Peter D. De Staebler is a classical archaeologist and architectural historian, with field experience in Turkey, Italy, and Greece. He completed his PhD at the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University, on the city wall of Aphrodisiais in Turkey, and was assistant director of the Aphrodisias Regional Survey Project. He has worked as a curator and teacher and presently is Visiting Assistant Professor at the Pratt Institute School of Architecture, in the Programs for Sustainable Planning and Development. Additional research interests include the use of spolia, monolithic columns, the display and interpretation of antiquity.

Fantastic, original, gorgeous book - one of a kind

This is my favorite new children's book I've read this year. I leave it out on my coffee table for kids when they come with their parents to visit, and it's ALWAYS a hit. Heder has an unparalleled knack for capturing in both image and word the emotions and psyche of a child. When coupled with her well-researched subject and her masterful watercolor illustrations, the narrative of The Bear Report shines unforgettably bright and will prove a treasure in any hands, big or small.

Imaginative Escape to a Winter World

When Sophie's teacher assigns the class to do a bear report, Sophie resists. Aren't bears mean? An arctic polar bear shows up in Sophie's living room one evening and whisks her away to the bear's home land. Sophie sees this winter wonder world of the bear herself. She sees the other arctic animals, the ice floes, and even a giant whale who rescues them.

This book captures the wonder of the bear's world and is an imaginative escape from the familiar and known to a region with much beauty and drama.
